was wondering if you could include some information about the NJROTC Relay for Life team in your next e-mail (Word will travel quicker that way over break)?  For any cadets that are interested, the team is on the Southold Relay for Life website, it is called Mattituck NJROTC. They have to register online and then they can see me about getting their donation envelopes, information, etc. Christina and I are going to be co-captaining so if anyone has any questions they can talk to us. I will put something up in the ROTC room with all this information, but I figured it would be good to include it in your emails too, especially with break.

I also have the packet in Greenport.  See Carson Pickerell in Southold and Emily King in Greenport for info.  They all attended the kick off last night.  This is a HUGE community service event and I hope many of you take part!!!  IT IS NEAR AND DEAR TO MY HEART:-)))
Sat 18th - 1215 Buses depart MHS for Parade
1220 Bus departs SHS for Parade
Mon 20th - 0500 Bus departs for  Camp Lejeune Trip
Fri 24th  - 1800 Camp Lejeune Trip returns
Mon 27th - 1900 ALL DRILL TEAMS/CADETS ON DECK PRACTICE AT SHS BIG GYM -  BASIC/NS1/ARMED/INSP/TUG-O-WAR INCLUDED!!!!!

CAMP LEJEUNE/QUANTICO TRIP PACKING LIST 2012

RECOMMENDED AND REQUIRED EQUIPMENT AND PERSONAL ITEMS

TRAVEL UNIFORM IS JEANS AND ROTC SWEATSHIRT

1. Uniform Items (male and female) to be brought Quantico/Camp Lejeune.

  1. Khaki Uniform:

- (2) Khaki shirt

- (2) Khaki trousers

- (1) Khaki belt (brass tip)

- (1) Brass belt buckles

- (1) Khaki garrison cap

  1. Other Uniform Parts and Accessories:

- (1) Black leather shoes (NJROTC issued shoes)

- (1) NJROTC Black Sweater w/leather Nametag

- (1) Relaxed Fit Jacket

- (1) NJROTC collar devices/Rank Insignia/Stars (No Ribbons or Medals or Ropes)

- (1) Small fouled anchor (for garrison caps)

- (1) Nametag

2. Non uniform items – to be brought by all cadets:

- (1) SLEEPING BAG AND PILLOW

- (1) CONSERVATIVE STYLED SHIRT FOR ON-BASE LIBERTY

AT CAMP LEJEUNE AT NIGHT. (COLLARED/POLO TYPE)

- (1) pair gym shoes

- (2) pair gym shorts (blue preferred; must be solid color)

- (2) pair black socks

- (2) pair white athletic socks

- (1) can shoe polish (NO LIQUID; with shine cloth and old tooth brush)

NOTE: Bring BRASSO/NEVERDULL also.

- (2) T-shirts (other than under garments, for PT/Events)

- (2) White T-Shirts for wear with the Uniform

- (1) Complete Set ROTC Sweat outfit for night wear

- (1) Pair shower shoes

- (2) Bath towels

- (2) Wash Cloths

- (1) Laundry bag

- (1) Fingernail Clippers

- Necessary undergarments as required.

- Necessary toilet and hygiene articles (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, SOAP DISH, shampoo, shaving gear, deodorant, feminine products, etc.)

- (1) Flashlight

- Medicine as required (To be turned over to Instructors upon departure

WITH Instructions/Directions for Use/Times to be Taken.)

  1. NOTES:

- All T-Shirts are to be “Crowned Neck”----NO V-neck shirts.

- Mark ALL items of clothing

- No off color hair pins or “scrunchies”
